This is a specialized joint degree from the School of Economics and the Sam Nunn School of international Affairs. Students focus on the most pressing concerns of today’s global community, with core classes in economics, international affairs, foreign language, social and natural science, mathematics, computer science, and humanities. Upper-level coursework provides specific training in areas including international security and diplomacy, comparative cultures, statistical modeling, and microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and policy.
Students are encouraged to pursue at least two internships while in the degree program. The Schools sponsor summer programs around the globe, including programs in Brussels, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, and Costa Rica.
