Students pursue certificate programs to broaden knowledge of non-major disciplines, develop skills around an area of interest, and expand potential for success in their chosen endeavors.
It is not necessary to select a certificate during your first semester at Georgia Tech. Explore your options and keep your advisor(s) informed. All certificate programs require at least 12 hours of course work with at least 6 hours at the 3000 level or higher. Consult with an advisor in the department offering the certificate to ensure you meet requirements.
