Established in 2001, Buzz Studios Filmmaking Club at Georgia Tech has fostered, empowered, and propelled a community of student filmmakers. Following a historic year seeing record-high participation and output from the student body, Buzz Studios is returning to the Plaza Theatre for a grand celebration of all the hard work poured in by their members throughout the 2023-2024 academic year.
Throughout the last several years, Buzz Studios has worked meticulously to serve as an accessible and educational resource for prospective filmmakers on the Georgia Tech campus, with record numbers of productions being carried out by first-time filmmakers spanning a wide range of perspectives, genres, academic disciplines, and cinematic styles.
