2024 Global Media Festival Film Screening: “Untold (War of Memories)” + Virtual Q&A

In the 1960s, South Korea fought in the Vietnam War as a U.S. ally. The massacres of Vietnamese civilians by Korean soldiers are yet to be recognized by the Korean government. Untold brings forth the memories of three Vietnamese survivors, asking: “After 50 years of silence, what does the Vietnamese War really mean to us, and what should it be?”

Global Media Festival

The 2024 Global Media Festival explores themes around a variety of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) The festival will be from Friday, March 29 through Sunday, April 7. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Co-sponsored by the School of Modern Languages; the Atlanta Global Studies Center; the School of Literature, Media, and Communication; and the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems.
