Andy Frazee serves as the Director of the Writing and Communication Program (WCP), supporting the teaching, research, service, and professional development of 40 Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellows and WCP lecturers. In addition to research examining writing program administration, pedagogy, and faculty development, his scholarship explores the effects of computation and artificial intelligence on contemporary poetry; he is also a publishing poet (The Body, The Rooms, Subito Press, 2010). He teaches courses in postmodern literature and first-year composition, and facilitates postdoctoral seminars in pedagogy. In 2013, he served as the project manager of one of the first writing MOOCs, First-Year Composition 2.0.
