Borenstein on Ethics in Reporting Research to Grant Funders

If a colleague raises doubts about a professor's research, that professor should disclose in reports to grant funders that “there is another viewpoint that could be presented, but we believe ours is right for the following reasons,” says Jason Borenstein, an associate professor in the School of Public Policy who teaches responsible conduct in research to Georgia Tech science and engineering students. “That will make a better case to the grant reviewers.” Source: Nature, September 5, 2012
