Posted December 14, 2015

The Halle Foundation has made a generous grant to support scholarships for students in the School of Modern Languages German Program to study abroad in Germany. The program is directed by Professor Bettina Cothran. The grants will be funded from 2016 to 2018.

The Halle Foundation is an independent, public grant making charity established by Claus M. Halle in 1986. Its mission is to promote understanding, knowledge, and friendship between the people of Germany and the United States.

The foundation began a partnership with the Ivan Allen College School of Modern Languages in 2011 to provide students with the opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in Germany.
