Caitlin Kelly

Caitlin Kelly is the Director of the Naugle Communication Center. She holds a MA from the University of Tennessee and a PhD from the University of Missouri. Kelly’s professional interests include pedagogy, writing centers, writing program administration, and literature and culture of the long eighteenth century. In her work in writing programs, she has served on leadership committees, supported faculty development in teaching, and coordinated and participated in assessment. Kelly has presented her research at conferences including the International Writing Centers Association, Southeastern Writing Center Association, American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, Southeastern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, and British Women Writers Conference. In 2020 she was a breakout speaker at the Jane Austen Society of North America’s Annual General Meeting. Kelly’s work has been published in The Explicator, WLN: A Journal of Writing Center Scholarship, Pedagogy, Age of Revolutions, and ABO: Interactive Journal for Women in the Arts, 1640-1830. She is also a contributor to the collaborative blog Pedagogy & American Literary Studies.
