Dean's Scholarships Program

Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts awards Dean’s Scholarships in recognition of incoming freshmen with a high school record of academic excellence, visionary leadership, and outstanding public service.

Overview

The Dean's scholarship award is highly competitive. Every year three to four students receive a $1,000 award in their first year, with the opportunity to continue the scholarship for three subsequent years if the student continues to meet the criteria. The scholarships are in addition to the Hope Scholarship in-state students may receive.

The Dean's Scholarship is based on a competitive, merit-based process and there is no separate application process. All freshman students who enroll in majors within the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts are considered for the award.
