  • Kumar Presents Research in Hong Kong and California

    Neha Kumar, assistant professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs presented a paper at the ACM DIS (Designing Interactive Systems) 2018 conference in Hong Kong. She also co-organized and presented a paper at the first annual ACM COMPASS (Computing and Sustainable Society) 2018 conference in Menlo Park, California.

  • Taylor Presents Research in Boston and Washington D.C.

  • Renowned International Poet Named to Bourne Poetry Chair at Georgia Tech

    July 1, 2018

    Renowned international poet Ilya Kaminsky will join Georgia Tech August 1, 2018, as the Margaret T. and Henry C. Bourne Jr. Chair in Poetry. Professor Kaminsky will join the faculty of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, as well as become the new director of the Poetry@Tech Program.

  • Georgia Tech’s Marilyn Brown Leads on New Electric Vehicle Report

    A new U.S. Department of Energy study led by Marilyn Brown of the Georgia Institute of Technology finds that programs to allow electric vehicles to pump electricity back into the power grid in times of peak demand or crisis could help secure the power system and make owners a little money, too.

  • Alumnus Graham Goldberg Awarded Law Fellowship

    June 28, 2018

    Graham Goldberg, alumnus of the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, was awarded a fellowship by the University of Georgia School of Law to pursue a judicial clerkship for summer 2018. He will clerk with DeKalb County State Court Judge Michael J. “Mike” Jacobs.

  • Ivan Allen Researchers to Collaborate on Energy Project in India

    June 28, 2018

    Usha Nair-Reichert from the School of Economics and Anjali Thomas Bohlken from the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs will study consumer attitudes towards energy-sector initiiatives in India. The research is part of a Center for Strategic and International Studies initiative and is funded by the Georgia Institute of Technology's Strategic Energy Institute.

    The Office of the Dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts has relocated to the newly renovated first floor of the Savant Building at 631 Cherry Street, Atlanta, 30332. The dean’s office previously was located in the Habersham Building at 781 Marietta Street.
